Richard Arnold

Richard Arnold is a traditional joiner and cabinet maker with more than 40 years of experience specialising in historic woodworking techniques, sash windows and bespoke joinery. Based in Northamptonshire, Richard is known for his use of pre-industrial hand tools and methods, many inherited from his grandfather’s original tool chest dating back over 100 years. His work focuses on conservation projects, listed buildings and traditional craftsmanship, with a particular passion for preserving historic woodworking knowledge and techniques.

Richard Arnold will be joining LIWF 2026 to deliver a seminar on traditional sash windows, as well as joining the LIWF Marketplace on Friday 30 and Saturday 31 October.
