Located next to the University of East London (UEL) docklands campus, the venue is easily accessible by public transport and road.
Travelling by Public Transport
We strongly recommend travelling by public transport.
The easiest route is via the Docklands Light Railway (DLR).
Alight at Cyprus DLR station, then walk over the bridge into the University of East London campus. From there, follow signage to the London Design & Engineering UTC.

Paid parking is available at the University of East London (UEL), accessed via University Way, off Gallions Roundabout.

Parking charges and booking
Parking costs £6.42 per vehicle, per day and must be paid for online before your arrival.
How to book your parking:
Register for an account with UEL. It is the DOCKLANDS campus you need for LIWF.
Select the date you wish to park and complete your payment.
If you require parking for additional dates, log back into your account and repeat the process for each date.
Keep your payment confirmation ready to show security on arrival.
Important: You can only pay for ONE date at a time. If you are attending the festival for several days, you must complete a separate transaction for each day you wish to park.
Parking authorisation
LIWF 2026 has already obtained parking authorisation from UEL on behalf of festival visitors. You do not need to request individual authorisation, even if the UEL payment website refers to this requirement.
On arrival
Enter via University Way, off Gallions Roundabout. At the parking security box, show your payment confirmation to the security team, who will direct you to the appropriate parking area.
From the car park, it's a 5–7 minute walk through the University of East London campus to the festival venue.
