These Terms & Conditions apply to all bookings, ticket purchases, course registrations and attendance relating to the London International Woodworking Festival (LIWF).

By purchasing tickets, booking courses, attending the festival or using our website, you agree to the following terms.

Bookings and Payments

All bookings are subject to availability.

Full payment is required at the time of booking unless otherwise stated.

Once your booking has been completed, you will receive confirmation by email.

Please check your booking details carefully and contact us immediately if any information is incorrect.

Courses and Workshop Places

Many courses and workshops have limited capacity.

Places are allocated on a first-come, first-served basis and are only secured once payment has been received.

LIWF reserves the right to amend course content, tutors, workshop locations or schedules where necessary.

Marketplace Tickets

Marketplace tickets provide access to the LIWF Marketplace and associated public festival areas during the selected event day.

Some workshops, courses or masterclasses may require separate booking and are not included within general marketplace admission.

Cancellations and Refunds

If you need to cancel your booking, please contact us at info@londoniwf.co.uk.

Refunds may be offered at the discretion of LIWF and may depend on the timing of cancellation and the type of booking.

LIWF reserves the right to cancel or reschedule courses, workshops or festival activities where necessary. In the event of cancellation by LIWF, affected attendees will be contacted regarding alternative arrangements or refunds.

Event Changes

While every effort is made to deliver the advertised programme, LIWF reserves the right to make changes to:

  • Tutors

  • Speakers

  • Schedules

  • Course content

  • Venues

  • Exhibitors

  • Demonstrations

These changes may occur without prior notice where necessary.

Health and Safety

Attendees are expected to follow all health and safety guidance provided by tutors, staff and venue representatives.

Some courses and demonstrations may involve the use of woodworking tools, machinery or specialist equipment.

Participants attend workshops and practical activities at their own risk.

LIWF reserves the right to remove any attendee whose behaviour is considered unsafe, disruptive or inappropriate.

Photography and Media

Photography and video recording may take place during LIWF for promotional, marketing and documentation purposes.

By attending the festival, you acknowledge that you may appear in photographs or video footage used by LIWF across websites, social media, printed materials and future marketing.

If you have concerns regarding photography or media use, please contact a member of the LIWF team during the event.

Intellectual Property

All website content, branding, graphics and promotional materials relating to LIWF remain the property of LIWF unless otherwise stated.

Content may not be copied, reproduced or distributed without permission.

Liability

LIWF accepts no responsibility for:

  • Loss or damage to personal belongings

  • Personal injury except where required by law

  • Travel or accommodation costs relating to changes or cancellations

  • Third-party services or external providers

Nothing within these Terms & Conditions excludes liability where it cannot legally be excluded.
