Dorian Bracht

Dorian Bracht is a furniture maker based in Berlin, specialising in handcrafted furniture and traditional Japanese woodworking techniques. Working exclusively with sustainably sourced solid wood, Dorian combines Western and Eastern hand-tool traditions to create bespoke furniture and interiors designed to last for generations. His work incorporates traditional Japanese and Chinese joinery methods alongside finishing techniques such as hand planing, charring and polishing, giving each piece its own distinctive character.

Dorian Bracht will be joining LIWF 2026 to deliver a course and masterclass, as well as joining the LIWF Marketplace on Friday 30 and Saturday 31 October.
