Students will be taught how to use an industrial sewing machine to sew scatter cushions with innovative, decorative trims. Fabrics and feather pads will be provided, but students can bring their own fabrics.
Linda Petersson is is an upholsterer and teacher specialising in sewing machine skills. She works from 7Upholstery in Shoreditch, East London and students will have the opportunity during the course to gain specialist knowledge from a skilled upholsterer.
By the end of the course, participants will have completed their own piece to take away, with all materials provided and access to the Marketplace included as part of the experience.
