Temple Tool Co. co-founded by Chris Schoenberg, a full-time furniture maker and content creator from Third Coast Craftsman and Takashi Morita, who has years of experience bringing fine Japanese tools to customers around the world.

They wanted to create a line of tools that blended Western and Japanese craftsmanship, quality, and design elements alongside educating and demystifying Japanese tools with honest and accurate packaging, descriptions, and educational material.
