Japanese joinery is known for its precision, elegance and structural ingenuity. In this course, participants will learn how to create joints that rely on accuracy and fit rather than mechanical fixings.

Students will develop skills in layout, cutting and assembly while working on a small furniture project inspired by traditional Japanese design.

Dorian Bracht is a furniture maker, author of Japanese Joinery, and teacher known for his deep understanding of traditional joinery techniques.

By the end of the course, participants will have completed their own piece to take away, with all materials provided and access to the Marketplace included as part of the experience.
