Curved forms are a defining feature of many historic furniture and architectural traditions. In this course, participants will learn how to design, shape and assemble curved wooden elements inspired by the Catalan modernista style.

The course focuses on the practical challenges of working with curves, including accurate layout, shaping techniques and the joinery required to bring complex forms together cleanly and structurally. Students will gain hands-on experience creating curved components and understanding how they are integrated into a finished piece.
